Technology
AnaCom's design philosophy has been to "design in: reliability, quality, ease of operation and low cost." AnaCom's architects designed in a level of performance, reliability, quality and cost reduction unmatched by industry peers. The Transceiver product, designed for outdoor installation, performs with excellent reliability in environments ranging from desert to arctic, humid to dry, and stationary or mobile.

To ensure performance for the long term, AnaCom's Transceiver contains only three modules: a power supply, up and down converters and a power amplifier, which incorporates the monitor and control (M&C) functions. Built into each module is a set of multilevel self-test diagnostics. Each unit endures a rigorous environmental, shock and vibration test, final test and quality control inspection.

AnaCom's Kromos line of L-Band and 70 MHz IP modems give the user unmatched features and capabilities. These are no ordinary satellite modems, but native IP gateways with powerful network management functions. Operations
Manufacturing facilities are located in a technology campus in Santa Clara, California. AnaCom's up converter and down converter, and monitor & control printed circuit boards are automatically assembled by outside vendors. Final test and calibration are done automatically via computer. This, in addition to increasing the capacity of production and strict adherence to Statistical Process Controls, has further increased the high quality and reliability of the Transceiver product.
