AnaCom's line of Baby BUC Block Up-Converters are highly integrated low-profile outdoor
units, with full-featured monitor and controls, designed to give extremely
reliable service in a wide range of environments. They are available in
single or redundant configurations.
Solid state power amplifier, up converters, M&C, and
a universal power supply are all included in one enclosure. Connect power (Baby BUCS come in
either AC or DC powered configurations), IF cables, and one coax cable to the LNC and the unit is on-line.
C-Band Baby BUCs are available up to 70 watts in the following spectrums:
- Extended C-Band
(TX: 5.850 - 6.425 GHz, RX: 3.625 - 4.200 GHz)
- Super Extended C-Band
(TX: 5.850 - 6.725 GHz, RX: 3.400 - 4.200 GHz)
- INSAT C-Band
(TX: 6.725 - 7.025 GHz, RX: 4.500 - 4.800 GHz)
Ku-Band Baby BUCs are available up to 100 watts in the following spectrums:
- Standard Ku-Band
(TX: 14.0 - 14.5 GHz, RX: 10.95 - 12.75 GHz)
- Extended Ku-Band
(TX: 13.75 - 14.25 GHz, RX: 10.95 - 12.75 GHz)
- Super Extended Ku
(TX: 13.75 - 14.50 GHz, RX: 10.95 - 12.75 GHz)
